Jennifer G Modern Designs for Babies & Kids was started by Jennifer McKeon Gonzales, a wife, mother and designer. Jennifer was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended both The University of Colorado and University of Hawaii where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Art Studio. Early in her career she held positions as a Graphic Designer for various corporate companies and has had hobbies in the arts such as painting, photography, and arts & crafts.

Jennifer’s baby and kids line was realized soon after she designed and created different accessories for her son’s nursery. She started designing modern, yet somewhat abstract images of wild animals such as elephants and sea turtles. Her modern baby blankets soon became quite popular as she sold them to a boutique in Austin, TX where she currently resides. Later she started selling her items on Etsy and has many custom requests.

There are many more designs in the works and she is always adding new items to her product line. Jennifer is married to an attorney in Austin and has a 2 ½ year old son and is expecting another baby boy in July 2008.
